Torve has been an entrepreneur since 2003 with a track record as manager and business developer with more than 20 years of entrepreneurship in scaling start-ups. Torve is driven by a deep commitment to advancing science-based innovation, turning applied physics, AI, and clean technologies into impactful, scalable ventures. He is hands-on with interdisciplinary teams, from researchers to engineers to business strategists, helping bridge the gap between technical excellence and real-world impact.
Niklas Persson
Board member
Niklas is an international executive with over ten years of experience in senior finance and strategy roles within energy, green tech, and industrial technology companies. Experienced in PE-backed environments, capital raises (>€500m), and building financial and commercial infrastructure for rapid scale. Strong track record in cross-border expansion, project financing for first-of-its-kind technologies, and leading teams through transformation. Board experience across Europe and the U.S., with deep experience aligning strategy, operations, and financial performance to drive long-term value.
Glenn Gunnar Wiig
Board member
Glenn has spent 25+ years changing the often-reactive focus on finance, as normally based on reporting what has already happened, instead of driving what’s next. His results from his past work documents reducing working capital by 30%, cutting group debt by two-thirds, building resilient finance teams across Europe and Asia and helping organizations recover stronger from global downturns. Glenn believes finance should be a true business partner - combining control, efficiency, and foresight to guide smarter decisions and long-term growth.

Jan Nilsson Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
Jan has 13 years of experience within the power plant and waste sector, 14 years of experience from the cement sector and 3 years of experience in the wastewater treatment sector. Jan has held different roles in his career from electrical engineering, test and commissioning, site management, sales as well as management including setting up companies from the start with a strong focus on company values and DNA. Jan has a degree as Electrician, Power Engineer, a BA in economics as well as an Executive MBA from the Copenhagen Business School.
Jan Kristoffersen Chief Construction Officer (CCO)
Jan has 39 years of experience in the power plant and waste sector including 3 years within the container terminal sector. Jan has held different roles throughout his career from project manager, project director, construction director, head of projects and SVP project execution.
Jan has more than 25+ years experience delivering large infrastructure projects mainly within the energy sector. Jan has held management positions within BWSC, Babcock & Wilcox Vølund, APM Terminal and B&K Vibro and holds a MSc in Mechanical Engineering with a diploma in Marine Engineering.
Management
Henrik Nielsen Chief Technology Officer (CTO)
Henrik holds a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark specialising in energy and turbomachinery and has 39 years of experience working with power generation. Henrik has held different positions in his carrier from technical proposal engineer, heading engineering, heading development of large gas turbine and combined cycle reference plants, heading research centre developing new technologies related to power generation.
Lars Bargsteen Møller Chief Procurement Officer (CPO)
Lars brings 18 years of supply chain expertise across the pharmaceutical, public health, chemical, and project execution sectors. For the past 15 years, he has held various managerial roles. Since 2023, Lars has led the People & Development function at SEC. Before transitioning to supply chain, he spent 10 years in the cement industry, working as a commissioning engineer and project manager.
Tommy B. Larsen Director Commissioning Management
Tommy has 30 years’ experience as a Mechanical Engineer – the first 5 years as designer followed as Commissioning Engineer and Commissioning Manager in the Power Generation sector. As Commissioning Manager, Tommy covered projects with 2 and 4-stroke diesel engines and gas engines worldwide, boiler plants with straw, woodchip and waste feeding in UK and for the time being as Commissioning Manager on a PtX project producing E-methanol. In parallel, over the last 15 years, Tommy has been Manager for the Test and Commissioning Department.
Simon Bjørn Beiskjær Manager Civil and Structural Engineering
Simon brings 11 years of experience in the power plant and waste sectors, along with 19 years in the cement plant sector. Throughout his career, he has held various roles, including Project Engineer, Department Manager, and General Manager, all within the field of Civil and Structural Engineering. His work has taken him to multiple international postings, both at local engineering offices and construction sites. Simon holds an MSc in Structural Engineering from the Technical University of Denmark.
Simon Collins Manager Civil Works Construction Management
Simon has more than 40 years of construction experience gained from working for both Contracting and EPC companies. Projects have ranged from all manner of building works to diverse civil engineering projects with a bias towards energy related projects. Numerous overseas postings have played a significant part in forming Simon’s sound construction background.
Henrik Larsen Manager Electrical Engineering
Henrik has 28 years of experience from the power plant and waste to energy sector. Henrik has held different roles throughout his career – electrical engineering, project management, proposal work and product management. Henrik has a bachelor’s degree in Power Engineering from Technical University of Denmark.
